The Sulphur Waters
|
|
|
How do you like the sulphur waters ?
I asked a young maiden of ten :
She said, little dunce,
"Well, I only tried once,
But that's quite enough, never again.
I don't like the Harrogate waters,
They don't taste a little bit nice,
I don't like the Harrogate waters,
I'd rather have strawberry ice."
What do you think of the Harrogate waters ?
I asked a young curate to–day,
He said, " Deary me,
We shall never agree,
And I really must truthfully say,
I don't like the Harrogate waters,
They're like physic and things of that ilk,
I don't like the Harrogate waters,
I'd rather have soda and milk."
How do you like the sulphur waters ?
I asked my old friend Colonel Brown.
He went red in the face,
Stamped all over the place,
Then he said with a terrible frown,
"I don't like the Harrogate waters,
To see I don't drink 'em I'll watch,
I don't like the Harrogate waters,
I'd rather have Polly and Scotch."
