Which is the spot to which you're lured?
When cursed with illness, long endured,
With best of hopes that you'll be cured ?
HARROGATE.
Where is it pretty girls abound ?
Who take the cake for miles around,
Where is the " Glad Eye " always found?
HARROGATE.
Which is the lovely hallowed spot?
Where even children know what's what.
Where is that Kruschen feeling got ?
HARROGATE.
Where did I meet that genial chap?
Who lured me on to play at " Nap "
And cleared me out of every rap ?
HARROGATE.
Where did I go when wealth I'd struck?
Travelled first class to show my pluck,
And came back in a cattle truck ?
HARROGATE.
Where did I meet that lady fair ?
With deep blue eyes and golden hair,
Who left me with my pockets bare?
HARROGATE.
Where did I buy that hat to wear?
Eighteen and six–it wasn't fair
The same thing three and nine elsewhere?
HARROGATE.
Where does a man go, tired of life?
To rid himself of pain and strife,
And flirt with someone else's wife ?
HARROGATE.
Where do you meet that strange, weird smell
That comes from the waters, sad to tell,
Whence do the odours come? Oh well!
HARROGATE.
