To my son Thomas Simpson, whom I appoint Executor, the house in which I now live, with the barn, outhouse, orchard and 7 closes of land, all now occupied by me and being in the hamlet of Birstwaite, Township of Clint.

My son to pay an annuity to my wife, Sarah Simpson, of £2. Also an additional annuity to her of £4 so long as she does not remarry.

To the children of my brothers, Peter Simpson and Jonathan Simpson, equally amongst them, the same as my son Thomas should he die without issue.
