To my wife Elizabeth Thompson a half share in my Copyhold real estate, comprising an ancient building and six closes of 5 acres in the hamlet of Clifton. At her death this half to pass to my daughter Mary Thompson, provided she is still single.

If my daughter Mary has married by the time of my wife's death then this half is to go to my daughter Catherine Thompson.

The other half to my daughter, Mary.

To my daughter Elizabeth Thompson 10s 6d.

Residue of my goods and chattels to my wife Elizabeth, and my daughter Mary, and appoint them Executrixes.
