real estate at Beckwithshaw. Also £200. Also my garth at Sulphur
Well, chargeable with 20s to the poor of Harrogate.
To my nephew Thomas Russell the estate I bought from Mr
Howden the elder, and the land I bought from Mr Howden the
younger, and the lands I bought from Mr Dawson, and the close I
bought from John Abbey, and the close I bought from John
Clark, chargeable with £50 to my nephew John Russell
three years after my death, and £50 to my nephew Christopher
Russell four years after my death, and an annuity of 20s for
the poor of Harrogate.
To my sister Grace Raper [Grace Boddy] my leasehold estate at Bedale,
that I have on lease from Lady Stapleton and [named items
of furniture].
To my brother Christopher Boddy one guinea one year
after my death.
Residue of my goods, chattels and personal estate to my nephew
Thomas whom I appoint Executor.
