My only child is young and I leave him in the care, tuition and
guardianship of my father-in-law and mother-in-law, John Wilson
of Ripon, and his wife Isabel Wilson, until he reaches 21.
To my friends Thomas Armistead of Staveley, Gentleman, William
Woodburne of Knaresborough, Gentleman, and William
Stephenson of York, Merchant, all my real estate in Great
Ouseburn, Upon Trust, for the benefit of my son, John Burniston.
To my son John all my silver plate and linen.
Should my son die before reaching 21, the children of my
sister, Frances Fewler [Frances Burniston], wife of William
Fewler, are to receive £20 each.
My father-in-law, John Wilson, to be supervisor of my
Will, and I appoint my Trustees as Executors.

Deeds, Wakefield, in Book EE Page 587 Number 857, on 6th April
