senior, of Rattan Row and John Reynard of Thornthwaite,
Upon Trust.
To my wife, Jane Oddy, my real estate.
To my kinswoman, Anne Oddy, of Padside, £2.
To my cousin Elizabeth Wetherhill, £20; should she be
deceased then the same to be shared amongst her children.
To my cousin Anne Thornhill, wife of John Thornhill,
£20, with the same proviso as above.
To my cousin Elizabeth Lane of Denton, 1s.
To Sarah Oddy, daughter of my cousin Francis Oddy,
deceased, £2.
To Emanuel Watson, son of William Watson of
Brownbank, and to his brother Thomas Watson, £5 between
them.
To Jane England, wife of Thomas England of
Snowden, £3; should she be deceased then the same to be shared
amongst her children.
To George Waite, son of my cousin George Waite,
deceased, late of Greenay Hill, and to his brother John Waite,
£5 between them.
To my cousin John Oddy of Longber, 1s.
To Peter Oddy of Thruscross, son of my cousin Richard
Oddy, £6, and to his brother William Oddy, £4, and to
their two brothers and three sisters £10 between them.
To Ann Dawson [could be Pawson], daughter of my
uncle Richard Oddy, 1s.
To Peter Oddy, son of my cousin Francis Oddy, deceased,
£5.
After the death of my wife my Trustees may let my copyhold
property for one year if Peter Oddy, son of my cousin John
Oddy, if he has reached 21. Then the property to be
transferred to him and Peter Oddy, son of my cousin Francis
Oddy, chargeable with all my legacies.
Residue of my goods, chattels and personal estate to my wife,
whom I appoint Executrix.
