Our copyhold property at Longscales where we now live, with the two
closes called House Close and Tang Ing, also the three closes of
pasture adjoining the west side of the two closes, to our
granddaughter Margaret West at the death of the survivor of us,
provided she has reached 21.
If she has not reached 21 then our Executor in Trust to hold it for
her, chargeable with an annuity of £2 to her mother Margaret West,
and to continue as long as she remains the widow of our son Samuel
West. Should our daughter-in-law remarry then our granddaughter is
to cease the annuity and give her mother 1s.
Should our granddaughter die before reaching 21 then the same to
our granddaughter Anne Dibb, chargeable as above.
To our granddaughter Anne the close called Emsley Garth and
the cottage called Stalps House, now occupied by William Hewick.
At her death the same to her daughter Anne Dibb. Also a chair
with an I and a S on it, a table, bedstead and bedding.
Residue of our personal effect to our granddaughter Margaret,
whom we appoint Executrix.
We appoint William Downam of Kettlesing, head Executor in
Trust, with our granddaughter Margaret.
