Thornthwaite, Parish of Hampsthwaite
To my brother Francis Snow my Copyhold land of 1a 3r at
Thornthwaite. At his death the same to his son William Snow.
My brother is to pay £200 as follows :
John Wright of High Rails, the amount owing him that he has on
Bond. Whatever debts I have on my land. Residue to my brother William
Snow.
To my brother Francis Snow, my shop, tools, household goods,
clothes, and husbandry equipment.
My books to my nephews William and Richard Snow.
To the children, by my sister Rosamund Holmes, of Zaccharias
Holmes, £15 between them.
To the children, by my sister Anna Knapton, of William
Knapton, £20 between them.
To the children, by my sister Anna Knapton, of William
Knapton, £20 between them.
To the children, by my sister Mary Spink, of Richard
Spink, £25 as follows : £10 to my nephew Richard Spink,
and £5 each to his three sisters and their children.
I give to my four nephews who are named after me, 5s each, and 5s
to my niece Mary Wright to buy gloves.
To my brother William my Copyhold lands at Menwith Hill,
being 10½a and now occupied by James Graham, chargeable with
any remaining debts and funeral expenses. I appoint him Executor.

Codicil - 11th November 1752
He now leaves all his real estate to his trusty and well loved
friend William Holmes, instructing him to settle his debts and
distribute all funds as set out in his Will of 19th May.
