To my daughter Elizabeth Webster my house in Knaresborough,
now occupied by my mother Elizabeth Webster and Thomas
Benson, when she reaches 21. Also the Toll Card belonging to the
house. My mother to be allowed to remain in the house.
To my son John Webster my house in Knaresborough where I now
live, also the small adjoining house now occupied by Mary Kendall.
To inherit this after the death of my wife Mary Webster. Also
the Toll Card. Also the two Copyhold closes of 4a called Halfpenny
Closes, now occupied by Thomas Easterby.
To my wife Mary the 4a close called Gibson Close now
occupied by Thomas Easterby, to sell and use the money for the
maintenance and education of my children.
Should my wife die or remarry before my children reach 21 then I
give the above premises to my friends John Richardson of
Knaresborough, Apothecary, Thomas Knowles of Knaresborough,
Common Brewer, Joseph Downham of Haverah Park, Yeoman, and Barnard
Dickenson of Arkendale, Yeoman, In Trust to use the rents
for the maintenance and education of my children, and to pay an
annuity of £2 to my wife if she had remarried.
To my brother Richard Webster 5s.
I direct that all the legacies and annuities given in the Wills of
my late brother John Webster and father Richard Webster
be fully settled.
Residue of my real and personal estate to my wife, whom I appoint
Executrix.
