Richard Fairburn - 20th April 1756 - P004

Harrogate, Farmer

To my eldest son Richard Fairburn [named cattle and horses], also £6 6s, [named farming tools], also the sheep that are wintered at Lead Hall, also [named household goods].

To my daughter Elizabeth Fairburn £20 when she reaches 21. Also [named items].

To my sons John Fairburn and Thomas Fairburn, £5 each when they reach 21.

If my wife remarries, then the ten pounds that I have given to my two sons should be immediately paid by my Executrix to Phillip Hardcastle and Joseph Thackray whom I appoint as their Trustees.

Residue of my goods, chattels, and personal estate to my wife, Grace Fairburn, whom I appoint Executrix.
