My house and land at Killinghall to my wife Elizabeth Clarkson
and my son Thomas Clarkson.
When my son Thomas reaches 21 he is to have the house and
land, paying an annuity to my wife of £2 10s, and to allow her to
live there.
To my mother Mary Clarkson an annuity of £5.
To the poor at Killinghall the interest on £10 to be paid by my
heirs on New Years Day.
To my cousin, Bartholomew Clarkson, 1s, and a coat.
To my cousin, John Luty, 1s and a coat.
To my brother Simon Morris [sic – perhaps brother-in-law]
sons, 1s.
Should my wife die before my heir come of age, then I wish my
father, Thomas Clarkson, to look after my effects.
