Rowden Lane, Parish of Hampsthwaite, Yeoman
To my wife Anne Simpson Low Farm with the five closes,
amounting to 2a 3r, in Rowden Lane, now occupied by William Simpson
and Joseph Horseman, which I bought off Matthew Holm.
At her death the same to my son William Simpson. At his
death the same to my son Samuel Simpson. At his death the same
to my grandson John Simpson, son of Samuel.
The residue of my Copyhold estate (house and nine closes, amounting
to 6a 1r) to my daughter Sarah Simpson.
To my granddaughter Grace Simpson £40.
To my son Thomas Simpson one guinea, having previously given
him sufficient fortune.
Residue of my goods, chattels, and personal estate to my wife Anne
and daughter Sarah, whom I appoint Executrixes.
Witnesses : Thomas Simpson of Felliscliffe, Anne Simpson,
wife of William Simpson the younger, of Felliscliffe, Jane
Simpson, wife of Thomas Simpson of Felliscliffe, William
Simpson of Felliscliffe.
