Knaresborough, Innkeeper
To my wife Mary Abbott my Copyhold house and other buildings
in Cundall Lane, Knaresborough, now occupied by myself and Philip
Dixon.
At her death the same to my second son Thomas Abbott,
chargeable with £25 each to my three other children, James Abbott,
Henry Abbott, and William Abbott, one year after the death
of my wife.
To my sons Thomas and Henry, £300 each.
To my brother Henry Abbott of Minskip, and Ralph Robinson
of Ripley, Gentleman, £300, Upon Trust to invest. The interest to go
to my son William when he reaches 21, prior to which it is to
be used for his maintenance and education.
All my household effects, cattle, and personal estate, to my wife.
I have lately contracted with the assignees of James Collins,
a bankrupt, for the purchase of a house and other buildings in the
High Street, Knaresborough, occupied by my son James, Francis
Bedford, and Mrs Wilks, for £210. I now devise this to my
wife, whom I now appoint Executrix.
