John Myers - 8th September 1785 - U069

Turner Ing, Parish of Hampsthwaite, Dish Turner

To my daughter Hannah Pennington an annuity of £2 for 10 years, chargeable to my real estate, now occupied by my son Thomas Myers, in Menwith with Darley.

To my son Thomas the ancient building in which he now lives, along with the 3a 3r and 1 pennyworth of land, and the 2a of adjoining land. Also the 2 horsegates which adjoins to the E by a road, N by Mrs Turpin’s land, W by Francis Metcalfe’s land, and S by Robert Petty’s land, recently bought by John Wilkes, being 6½a and located at Stone Beds in Menwith with Darley.

At his death, if he has no issue, the same to my son John Myers.

To my daughter Mary Dale £60.

To my daughter Hannah Donnington £20.

To my grandson John Bradfield and my granddaughter Mary Bradfield £40 each when they reach 21.

To my son-in-law Thomas Bradfield an annuity of £2 until one half of the £80 becomes due, then reducing to £1 until the second half is paid. The annuity then to cease.

Residue of my real and personal estate to my son John, whom I appoint Executor.
