HARLOW
CAR SPRINGS, BATHS, AND HOTEL
The springs, baths, and hotel called Harlow Car, are situated on the Otley Road, about a mile and a quarter from Harrogate, in a Westerly direction.
These alkaline sulphurous springs have been but recently discovered. A suite of handsome baths with dressing rooms have been erected; also an hotel, all beautifully situated on a gentle slope, and sheltered by surrounding plantations, combining on the whole a most delightful abode for an invalid, or any one seeking a quiet and pleasant summer residence, with the important advantages offered by these baths and chalybeate waters so close at hand.
The charges for baths here are nearly the same as at Harrogate. A reduction is kindly made where circumstances call for it.
The hotel, baths, and grounds, are under the most skilful management.
