THE  TEWIT  WELL

Is situate near the Brunswick Hotel, and is a steel spring suitable for lowness of spirits and colic, and is an excellent tonic. This is the oldest well known.

The temple in which it is enclosed, formerly sheltered the Old Sulphur well.

An attendant from the cottage adjacent supplies the water at a small but fixed gratuity.
