This was founded by two bachelor brothers, of the name of Taylor, at the close of the last century, and, by the will of the founders, twenty children receive a free education. The master receives as many more pupils as he can procure upon the payment of a small weekly sum.
The school is vested in trustees, to whom belong the appointment of master. The endowment is about £50, with a residence.
