Darley, Parish of Hampsthwaite
My Copyhold property, now occupied by Anthony Braithwaite, James
Brown, and Mary Bake, and the house lately occupied by
William Brown, deceased, also my Leasehold estate in High Woodall, now occupied by
Christopher Fryer, containing 32 acres, and the adjoining staked out allotment of 63 acres, and my two Cattlegates on Dacre Pasture, and all my goods and chattels, to
Thomas Petty of Padside, and my son Robert Petty of Darley, Upon Trust to sell and dispose. Also to sell all my stock, crops and personal estate.
These monies are to pay all my debts and then any residue divided amongst my six children.
Nominated furniture goes to his daughter Jane Petty, and his sons
John Petty, and Thompson Petty.
