Samuel Wilkinson - 7th November 1818 - AA047

Spacey Houses, Innholder

All my real estate to my wife Ann Wilkinson, and my friends Thomas Raper, William Crosby, and Charles Greeves, and my brother-in-law Joshua Hardisty Upon Trust :

To pay all rents ad profits to my wife. At her death to apply the same for the maintenance and education of my children.

To convey the three closes called Follifoot Ridge which contains about 16 acres to my daughter Ann Wilkinson.

To dispose of the residue of my estate and the money to go to my three sons Joshua Hardisty Wilkinson, Charles Wilkinson, and Samuel Wilkinson.

All my plate, household contents and money to my wife and Trustees and to allow my wife to use them, along with all my farming stock.

At the death of my wife all my real estate to my three children.

Codicil - 29th January 1819

Adds Low Garth with its buildings, near Spacey Houses, to the legacy for his daughter Ann.

In the event of all his sons dying without issue, then the real estate is to go to his brother-in-law Joshua, his half-brother Thomas Raper, and John Greeves of the Granby Inn, chargeable with £100 each to William Raper, late of Bradford, Hannah Winn, sister of William Raper, and John Raper of Harrogate.
