£1,000 each to my brothers Joseph Coltman, William Bachelor
Coltman, and Thomas Coltman.
All my real estate and the residue of my personal estate to my sister
Frances Coltman whom I appoint executor.

Codicil - 3rd July 1820
I have agreed to settle upon my brother Thomas in case he should marry during my absence from England a sum not to exceed £3,000 as my brother
Joseph thinks reasonable, and have given power of Attorney to Joseph.
If the settlement is made at £1,000 then I revoke the £1,000 legacy to him.
If the settlement is made at £2,000 then I revoke the legacy of £1,00 to him and to my brother
William.
If the settlement is made at £3,00 then I revoke all legacies to my brothers.
Witness : Mary Coltman
I request that my executrix ask my two relatives Mary Coltman and her son
William Joseph Coltman to accept £10 10s each for a ring or other remembrance.
Affidavit 17th December 1822 by William Ward of 9 King’s Bench Walk Temple, London, Gentleman, who was well acquainted with
Charlotte, late of 34 Gloucestor Place, Portman Square, London, and recognised her signature.
