To my wife Sarah Geldart all my household furniture and goods, my farming stock, dairy utensils and my personal estate.
To my brother William Geldart and my friend William Gill of The Hollings in the Parish of Hampsthwaite, Upon Trust to convert to cash all other my effects, and to invest the same, the profits of which to be paid to my wife.
After her death [pencil note shows 26th March 1845] to divide the Trust into half and pay equal shares to
William Brayshaw, who now lives with my brother William, aged about 20.
The other half to be divided into 10 parts and distributed to my nephews and nieces :
John Gill, Jeffrey Driver, Francis Driver, Elizabeth Driver, Mary Driver, Richard Fell, William Fell,
Sarah, the widow of ...... , previously Fell, and Judith
Fell. The tenth share to be divided amongst the children of my niece
Elizabeth Gill the wife of John Gill of Hampsthwaite.
Witnesses : Samuel Powell, Solicitor, Knaresborough , William Gray his clerk
Died 23rd March 1825. Probate 1st June 1825. Effects under £800.
