James Thackwray - 3rd June 1825 - AB036

Clifton with Norwood, Yeoman

My Copyhold estate at Norwood with Clifton and my personal estate, except my household furniture from which my mother, Rose Thackwray may have her choice, to be sold by my executors.

£300 of the above money to remain with the estate and my mother to have the interest.

At her death this £300 to be split : 

£40 to my brother George Thackwray

£30 to my sister Mary Layton

£40 to my sister Charity Granger

£70 to my sister Sarah Cowgill

£50 to my sister Lydia Thackwray

£20 to my niece Sarah Batty

£10 to my nephew David Layton

£10 to my niece Elizabeth Wright

£30 to Thomas Cowgill son of William Cowgill

I appoint John Bramley and William Cowgill as executors.

Witnesses : John Outhwaite, Richard Henson, Samuel Hudson

Died 5th June 1826. Probate 28th June 1826. Effects under £200.
