Thomas Rainforth - 1st February 1826 - AB094

Burton Leonard, Farmer

My third share in a Copyhold estate at Beckwithshaw to my daughter Ann Brown Rainforth.

The residue of my estate to my wife Mary Rainforth and Thomas Nicholson of Burton Leonard, Farmer, Upon Trust to sell and dispose (less the estate devised to my daughter) and the interest paid to my wife.

At her death the same to be divided : One third to my daughter Ann and the remaining two thirds to my other daughters, Elizabeth Rainforth and Dorothy Rainforth.

Witnesses : Henry Cullingworth, Jeremiah Temple, Benni Warwick, Knaresborough



Codicil - 1st August 1826

Has purchased a Freehold estate at Brearton which is now included in the same Trusts.



Codicil - 17th October 1826

Revokes the appointment of Thomas Nicholson and appoints his son-in-law, Joseph Warwick, to the same Trusts.

Witnesses : William Hattersley, G Hattersley, John Brewerton



Codicil - 31st January 1828

Has purchased from Thomas Bruce of Green Hammerton, Basket Maker, an estate at Burton Leonard, which he then adds to the Trusts.

Witnesses : Benni Warwick, William Bell, Elizabeth Peacock

Died 5th May 1828. Probate 21st June 1828. Effects under £300.
