John Silversides - 22nd October 1827 - AB119

Birstwith, Blacksmith

To my son Joseph Silversides my cottage house at Kirk Deighton, now occupied by Frances Clough, along with 20 when he reaches 21.

Should he die before 21 then the same to my three sisters, Mary Know, Sarah Crowther, and Ann Flower. Mary to have 10.

To my wife Ann Silversides my personal estate. If she remarries before Joseph becomes 21 then he is to have 40.

To my nephew William Flower my silver watch.

I appoint my two brothers-in-law, William Robinson of Felliscliffe, and James Crowther of Halifax, Yeoman, as executors.

Witnesses : William Andrew, Luke Richard Robinson, John Fawcett

Died 4th November 1827. Probate 12th December 1827. Effects under 100.
