Jonathan Cook - 5th June 1735 - H007

Hampsthwaite, Yeoman

I have surrendered a close of Copyhold land to Thomas Harrison and Mary Moorhouse. They are to sell and to pass the money to my Executor for payment of my legacies.

To David Jackson £5.

To Mary Holyday [ probably Mary Holliday] £5 and a bedstead from my higher parlour, with the bed and bedding.

To Ann Jackson £3.

To Martha Jackson £3.

To Sarah Walker, wife of William Walker, £3. Should she die before inheriting, then the same to be shared by her children.

To Hannah Lambert, wife of James Lambert, £3. Should she die before inheriting, then the same to be shared by her children.

To Jonathan Jackson, son of David Jackson, £3.

To Ellin Whitaker, wife of George Whitaker, £10. Should she die before inheriting, then the same to be shared by her children.

To Hannah Fleetham £10 and the best bedstead and bedding from the chamber, also a cupboard, a round table, and my great bible.

Residue of my goods, chattels, and personal effects to John Jackson, son of David, and appoint him Executor.
