Thomas Waite - 20th May 1736 - H023

Long Lane, Parish of Hampsthwaite, Gentleman

I have surrendered to my son, Thomas Waite, (via the Beadle of the Forest, William Cooke), 2 messuages, 1 ancient building and 81/2 acres of land in the Hamlet of Felliscliffe, Township of Clint, Parish of Hampsthwaite, now occupied by Jonathan Wilson, Richard Brown, William Emsley and Henry Forrest.

To my son, Miles Waite, my freehold estate at Flayshaw, comprising 1 house, 2 barns, 2 stables, 2 peat houses and 1 loom house, now occupied by Jonathan Body. Also all the land at Dacre Banks with the new barn, now occupied by Isaac Patrick, within the Township of Laverton.

Residue of my copyhold estate, goods, chattels and personal estate to my son Miles, whom I appoint Executor.
