To my grandson, Thomas Hodgson, 40s to be used to place
him at apprenticeship or to buy clothes.
To my daughter Jane Brown [Jane Chippindale],
wife of John Brown, £6; to be paid on the death of my wife
To my son John Chippindale, £20 out of my Copyhold
estate at West Syke payable after the death of my wife. Should he
die before my wife then that sum to be equally divided amongst his
Residue of my goods, chattels and personal estate to my wife.
My wife and son Thomas are appointed Executors.
