Richard Broadbelt - 4th January 1745 - N010

Knaresborough, Yeoman

My Copyhold houses and land in Knaresborough to my nephew Richard Broadbelt.

To my son-in-law William Spence the burgage house in which I now live, and at his death the same to his children William Spence, Francis Spence, and Mary Spence.

To Mary Spence 5 when she is 21, also three pewter dishes and three pewter plates.

To Anne Broadbelt, daughter of Thomas Broadbelt, 6 and the bed and bedding she now uses, three pewter dishes and three pewter plates.

To Anne Broadbelt, daughter of Robert Broadbelt 6 and my other bed and bedding, along with three pewter dishes and three pewter plates.

To my niece Mary Todd 7 along with three pewter dishes and three pewter plates.

To my niece Jane Walker 7 along with three pewter dishes and three pewter plates.

I appoint my nephew Richard Broadbelt Executor.

To my nephew John Broadbelt, son of my brother Robert Broadbelt, 10. if he does not return then this sum to be divided amongst the other legatees.
