My copyhold property to my eldest son John Holmes, chargeable with the education and maintenance of my other children. This to be £1 5s per year until they reach 21.

To my children, Joseph Holmes, Benjamin Holmes, Jane Holmes, and Hannah Holmes, £30 each when they reach 21.

To my son William Holmes my right, title and claim, to the house and croft in Thruscross, now occupied by William Lazenby.

To my two grandsons, the children of my daughter Ann, £5 each when they reach 21.

Residue of my estate to my son John, whom I appoint Executor.
