John Greaves - 24th January 1750 - O028

Menwith Hill, Parish of Hampsthwaite, Husbandman

My copyhold property to my wife Sarah Greaves, and the profits used for the maintenance and education of my children until my son Isaac Greaves reaches 21. Also chargeable with an annuity of £2 17s 6d to my father Thomas Greaves.

To my son Isaac my real estate when he reaches 21. Chargeable with an annuity of £1 10s to my wife.

To my daughter Jane Greaves the £20 which is now held by John Day, when she reaches 21.

I nominate my father Thomas and my brother-in-law, John Steel, Trustees for the above.

If my wife remarries before my children reach 21 then my Trustees to have my real estate and apply the rents for the upbringing of my children, and to pay my wife an annuity of 5s until my son Isaac reaches 21.

Residue of my estate to my wife, whom I appoint Executrix.
