To my sister [probably sister-in-law] Mary Wrightson my
copyhold house in the Manor of Beechill, and at her death the same to
my nephews William Wrightson and John Wrightson.
To my nephews William and John £10 each.
To my sister Mary Thorp, wife of Francis Thorp, an
annuity of 20s. If she survives her husband then she is to receive
£20 within six months of his death.
To my sister Mary Wrightson £7, my household goods and
To my two nieces Mary Wrightson and Margaret Wrightson
To my nephew Thomas Wrightson my house in High Street,
Knaresborough, now occupied by Thomas Wilson, and appoint him
Witnesses : Thomas Collins, John Wright, Christopher Swainston
Note on back of Will stating that on 6th May 1747 £6 was paid to Mary
Thorp, wife of the late Francis Thorp, and on 27th
September a further £10.
