Felliscliffe, Parish of Hampsthwaite, Gentleman

To my wife Maudlin Mountain [named household items].

To Sarah Dibb, wife of William Dibb, the £10 which her husband owes me.

To my nephew John Jackson the £20 he owes me.

To my nephew John Carr the £10 he owes me.

To my nephew Francis Mountain the house in Felliscliffe now occupied by Aaron Parker and Ellen Wilson, with the five adjoining closes which I bought from John Trish, also the two other closes on the west side which is farmed by Jonathan Rennard. I also give him the tithes of corn &c from the above and the tithes from the closes on the north side, which are owned by John Hall but formerly by Robert Umpleby.

My wife to have the use of the above house, and all the remaining tithes.

To my nephew John Mountain the ancient building in which I now live, along with the five closes, along with all the tithes. At the death of my wife he is to have the close at Birstwith, called Emsley Garth,.

To my nephew William Mountain, at the death of my wife, the four closes [named] in Felliscliffe and now occupied by John Beecroft.

To William Simpson of Felliscliffe, £5.

Residue of my estate, goods and chattels to my nephew William, whom I appoint Executor.
