Birstwith, Parish of Hampsthwaite

To my wife Ann Malthouse my copyhold property in Birstwith, and at her death to my Executors.

To my sister Ann Wells an annuity of £2, during the life of my wife. At the death of my wife, £40, chargeable to my house at Pateley Bridge.

To my nephew George Wells, son of Aaron Wells, 1s, at the death of my wife.

To Aaron Wells, son of Aaron, £30.

To my niece Susannah Wells, daughter of Aaron, £30.

To my niece Christopher Wells, son of Aaron, £20.

To my nephew William Wells, son of Aaron, £20.

To my niece Ann Wells, daughter of Aaron, £20.

To my kinsman John Daniel, son of Michael Daniel, £60.

To my kinsman William Gill, of Tockwith, £60.

To my nephews Thomas Parker, Abraham Parker, and Peter Parker, sons of Peter Parker of Woodhouse, £10 each.

To my niece Ann Hudson and my nephew William Hudson, children of William Hudson of Woodhouse, £20 each.

To my kinsman William Holiday of Killinghall, £5.

To my kinsman James Coleman, £1 1s.

To my nephew Henry Atkinson £1 1s.

All above legacies to be paid six months after the death of my wife.

To my wife Ann, all my cows, calves, sheep, husbandry gear, crops, and household goods.

I appoint my kinsmen, Abraham Parker of Glasshouse, and William Gill of Tockwith, as Executors.
