Pannal, Ironmonger

To Robert Lawson of Pannal, 1s.

To Thomas Graystone the elder of Pannal, or to his son William Graystone, my clothes. Also £5 each.

I give Penny Dole to the poor who attend my funeral.

To Joseph Thackwray, Parish of Pannal, £2 2s.

To Bryan Prockter of Pannal, £2 2s.

To John Hill 1s, and to his three daughters, £1 1s each.

To Hannay Hutchinson, the daughter of Robert Lawson, £3.

To my wife Dorothy Umpleby, £25, also my household furniture, goods and chattels. She shall not have this legacy if she does not give my clothing as directed.

The residue of my estate to my granddaughter Fanny Wade of the Parish of Leathley.

I appoint my friends Joseph Thackwray and Bryan Prockter as Trustees and Executors.
