To my son-in-law, John Buck, the house in which he now
lives, and the four closes called Great Close, Well Close, Lambert
Close and the Paddock; also the Intake at Harper Lane Head.
To my grandson John Buck the beastgate on Dacre Pasture.
To my daughter Alice Ellis, whom I appoint Executrix, wife
of Joseph Ellis, the house in which I now live, and the eight
closes called Great Close, Nearer Well Close, Farther Well Close,
Tenter Close, Mossy Close, Oak Close, Hirst and Long Riggs; also the
four garths called Fore Garth, Smithy Garth, High Garth and Low Garth.
All chargeable with :
£100 to my daughter Mary Buck.
£20 each to my grandchildren Cornelius Buck and Miles
Buck when they reach 21.
My daughter Jane Buck died with a considerable fortune which
she had not disposed of. It is my will that this be now divided
between my daughters Mary and Alice.
