William Long - 28th July 1778 - T037

Flask, Parish of Ripley, Butcher

To my son William Long the house and land at Flask in the Township of Clint, now occupied by him, chargeable with the following two legacies :

To my daughter Elizabeth Robinson £30.

To my granddaughter Eden Gill £10 when she reaches 21.

To my son Robert Long the freehold close called Long Close at Hampsthwaite, now occupied by John Render. Chargeable with my debt of £40 to my daughter Elizabeth.

Also to my son Robert and his wife Isabella Long the freehold house at Hampsthwaite, now occupied by my son Robert and Mary Deighton now live.

At my son’s death the north end to go to my grandchildren Ann Simpson and Sarah Simpson, daughters of my daughter Sarah Simpson, deceased. At the death of my son and his wife I give the south end to my granddaughter Eden.

To my grandsons Michael Simpson and Joseph Simpson, sons of my daughter Sarah, £10 each. Likewise £5 each to my granddaughters Ann and Sarah.

To my son Robert £20, and appoint him executor.
