William Cant - 5th March 1782 - U088

Knaresborough, Mason

To my son Thomas Cant my two copyhold houses in Kirkgate, Knaresborough, now occupied by William Troosdale and Elizabeth Burleigh. Also all interest I have in my burgage house in Knaresborough, now occupied by myself and Ann Clint, widow, chargeable with £10 to my daughter Elizabeth Cant.

To my daughter Mary Walker, wife of William Walker, flax dresser, my copyhold house in Low Briggate in Knaresborough, now occupied by Joseph Bake, David Dranham, and John Robinson, chargeable with £16 to my daughter Elizabeth.

To my daughter Elizabeth my copyhold house in Kirkgate, Knaresborough, now occupied by William Walker and John Tenant.

To my son William Cant all my personal estate, goods and chattels, except the bedding and furniture being used by Elizabeth, and appoint him Executor.
