Samuel Jackson - 5th June 1787 - V025

Allerton Mauleverer, Merchant

To my wife Ann Jackson an annuity of £20 chargeable to my freehold and copyhold property in Pannal and at Almsford Bank in the Parish of Pannal, occupied by Thomas Grayston and Edward Webster.

My real estate at Pannal and Almsford Bank, and that at Meagill, Parish of Fewston, to my brother George Jackson, my wife Ann, and my son Samuel Jackson, Upon Trust.

To my wife £10 10s to be paid immediately upon my death, also her choice of bedding and furniture.

The residue of my household goods and personal estate to my Trustees.

My Trustees to pay my sons William Jackson, Thomas Jackson, Samuel Jackson, and George Jackson £300 each and to place the residue of my money at interest; the interest to go to my daughter Ann Jackson and my sons Richard Jackson, John Jackson, and James Jackson, at the rate of £300 each when they reach 21.

The residue to be equally shared amongst my eight children.
