Rev Thomas Waterworth - 7th April 1779 - V058

Brading, Isle of Wight, Clerk in Holy Orders

All my ready money and household contents to my wife Elizabeth Waterworth.

My two copyhold houses and 17½ acres of land at Clint, occupied by Mr Pennington, also the house and 2 acres of land at Felliscliffe, occupied by Francis West, also the 1 acre 1 rood close at Rowden Lane, Hampsthwaite, occupied by William Harrison, and the residue of my real estate to the Rev Daniel Walsh of Godshill, Isle of Wight, and William Clarke of Newport, Isle of Wight, Gentleman, Upon Trust :

To receive the rents and profits and settle my debts.

The £100 given by the Will of my late uncle Thomas Waterworth to Ann Grice, daughter of Ann Grice of Derby, on her marriage

Invest the residue, and apply the profits for the use of my wife.

A the death of my wife to convey my real estate to my son Thomas Lawrence Waterworth and divide the residue of the Trust monies amongst my two sons Thomas Lawrence and Edward Waterworth and any other children I may have.

I appoint my wife and Trustees as executors.
