John Reynard - 14th May 1797 - W054

Mill Syke, Township of Thurcross, Parish of Fewston

To my wife Anne Reynard and Robert Peel of Cock???, Thurcross, Carpenter, all my estate at Low Mill Syke, In Trust, for my son Marmaduke Reynard, chargeable with : £70 towards the missing fortunes of my two daughters and an annuity of £2 to my wife.

To my Trustees my estate called High Mill Syke, In Trust, for my son John Reynard, chargeable with : £50 towards my daughters.

To my Trustees the close on the W side of the allotment, In Trust, for my son John.

I wish my son Marmaduke to be apprenticed to a clockmaker, and then pass on that trade to his brother.

I wish that my daughter Jane Reynard to be apprenticed to a Mantua-maker, and then teach her sister Mary Reynard that trade.
