Knaresborough, Innholder

In a Surrender 1st October 1789 Robert Burnand of Knaresborough, merchant, and John Clark of York, common brewer, did surrender a waste building, since rebuilt, in Knaresborough, at the time occupied by myself and Robert Jefferey, also a plot of land being part of the garden of Thomas Driffield and his wife Margaret Driffield, to the use of myself and my wife Mary Benson.

I give my real and personal estate to my wife, chargeable with 300 to my nephews and nieces, the children of my late brother Thomas Lund, and my brother Richard Lund, and appoint her executrix.
