Knaresborough, Innholder

In a Surrender 1st October 1789 Robert Burnand of Knaresborough, merchant, and John Clark of York, common brewer, did surrender a waste building, since rebuilt, in Knaresborough, at the time occupied by myself and Robert Jefferey, also a plot of land being part of the garden of Thomas Driffield and his wife Margaret Driffield, to the use of myself and my wife Mary Benson.

I give my real and personal estate to my wife, chargeable with £300 to my nephews and nieces, the children of my late brother Thomas Lund, and my brother Richard Lund, and appoint her executrix.
