William Skaife - 30th May 1798 - W082

Menwith with Darley, Yeoman

All my real estate at Menwith with Darley, now occupied by William Pullan, Matthew Holmes, and Ann Bolton, also the land called Lazenby Land, to my son William Skaife. The buildings occupied as shown above are chargeable with £900 to William Day, Esq. Lazenby Land is chargeable with an annual rent of £1 to John Metcalf of Menwith with Darley, and at his death to the Churchwarden and Overseers of the Poor of Menwith with Darley, to be distributed to the most needy poor widows.

All my real estate at Dacre, now occupied by Richard Longbottom and James Close, to my son John Skaife.

All my real estate at Menwith with Darley, now occupied by Robert Pullan and Peter Nelson, also my allotment at Redlish, now occupied by Christopher King, Christopher King the younger, and William Marshall, to my daughter Alice Pullan. All chargeable with £100 to my son John.

All my household goods and other personal estate to my son John whom I appoint executor.
