William Bannister - 29th November 1804 - X127

Hampsthwaite, Yeoman

My real estate to my wife Ann Bannister whom I appoint executor. At her death :

The land called Broad Close and Umpleby’s Garth, in Hampsthwaite, to my daughter Jane Lewis, the wife of William Lewis.

My real estate at Felliscliffe, now occupied by Thomas Umpleby, to my daughter Ann Bannister.

Residue of my real estate to Henry Bannister, and if he dies without issue then the same to my daughters Jane and Ann.

All my personal estate to my wife Ann and at her death the same to my two daughters. 

I appoint my wife and my friends William Bramley of Scriven, Gentleman, and Thomas Ingle of Knaresborough, Gentleman, Trustees and Guardian of my son Henry.

Witnesses : Joseph Lax, William Vevers, Benjamin Richardson

Probate 20th August 1806. effects under £200.
