Mary Taylor - 5th September 1807 - Y022

Wife of John Taylor of Knaresborough, Innholder

By Indenture of Assignment 26th September 1791 between John Taylor and his wife Mary of the first part, Thomas Wilks, common brewer, now deceased, of the second part, and James Paley, common brewer and William Andrew, yeoman, of the third part, I give the undivided moiety in the burgage house in the High Street, Knaresborough, previously occupied by John Shann, but lately occupied by Marmaduke Towland, Ann Johnson, Walter Mitchell, and John Bake, to my husband John, chargeable with :

£50 to my nephew Thomas Stephenson.

£25 pounds to my niece Mary Morrell, wife of Samuel Morrell.

£25 to my half-sister Elizabeth Mitchell, wife of Walter Mitchell.

I appoint my husband executor.

Witnesses : Ralph Robinson, John Cock, Francis Fairbank
