To my sons Martin Cass and Thomas Cass my workshops, cowhouse and stable behind the house I now live in.
To my sons Martin and Thomas and daughters Dorothy Cass and
Elizabeth Cass my piece of land on Harrison Hill Lane near Knaresborough subject to payment of £20 to my brother
John Cass.
To my sons and daughters all my real estate at Winsley subject to the payment of £100 to my brother
John.
To my brother John the above £20 and £100 to be paid 3 years after my death Upon Trust to invest and pay there interest to my daughter
Ann Beck and at her death to her children.
If my estate at Winsley is sold for more than £1,700 then I give to my brother
John one fifth of the surplus above that amount upon the same Trusts as above.
I give £12 to my brother John for his trouble.
To my daughter Dorothy my silver cup and the bed, bedstead and hangings in the room in which she now sleeps.
To my daughter Elizabeth my best looking glass.
To my son Martin the looking glass over the fireplace in my room in which I sleep.
To my son Thomas the bed, bedstead, bedding and hangings in my room.
The remainder of my real and personal estate to be equally divided amongst my sons and daughters.
