Sergeant William Booth

 
 

Harrogate Herald – 25th July 1917

Sergeant William Booth, Northumberland Fusiliers, son of the late Mr and Mrs William Booth, of Knaresborough, has been wounded in the nose and cheek. He joined His Majesty's Forces early in the war. Sergeant Booth took part in the South African campaign, and was a Corporal in the Royal Army Medical Corps at its termination. In civil life he was in the employ of the NE Railway as checker at Ripon.
