Rifleman Albert Buck, brother of Mrs F Needham, 2 Primrose Hill, New Park, Harrogate, has been wounded in the head, but is now back again in the trenches. He was employed at Haverah Park previous to being called up.

An intimation has been received that Private Bertie Buck, of the Northumberland Fusiliers, late of Eastville Cottage, New Park, Harrogate, was killed in action on February 13th in France. Up to joining the colours he was employed by Mr D Addyman, butcher, of New Park. He was one of seven brothers serving with the colours, and leaves a wife and a little boy. One of his brothers, Rifleman Albert Buck, who was wounded in the head, is now back in the trenches. He was previously employed in Haverah Park. Another brother has been a prisoner of war since November, 1914. The deceased soldier is a brother of Mrs F Needham, wife of the late Private F Needham, of Primrose Hill, New Park, who was in the 17th West Yorks.
