Sergeant Robert Lawson Carrick

 
 

Claro Times - 4th June 1915

Sergeant R L Carrick, of the 1st Canadian Contingent, has died of wounds received in action. He was a Harrogate lad, a member of a well-known local family. He emigrated to Canada some years ago, and his father, Mr Lawson Carrick, mother, and family followed. He enlisted in the 1st Canadian Contingent, and before he left for the front came to Harrogate to bid "good-bye" to his friends.

Sergeant 24062 13th Bn., Canadian Infantry (Quebec Regt.) who died on Monday, 26th April 1915. Age 29.

Son of Robert Lawson Carrick and Mary Jane Carrick, of 55, Drake St., Cote St. Paul, Montreal.
