Information was received in Ripon on Wednesday that Gunner Cyril Carter, RGA, was killed in action on the 14th August. He was a Cathedral chorister, and afterwards served his apprenticeship at Messrs Taylors' Drug Stores, with which firm he was employed for six years before joining the Army
